iContact
(formerly Intellicontact) is a remotely-hosted complete email
marketing system. They are creating a very good reputation for their
easy to use interface and deliverability. They are constantly adding
new and powerful features. This is the friendliest interface of them
which makes it very easy to manage lists and create messages. You have
access to many features including over 300 great looking templates as
well as the very handy survey tool. They also provide tracking to
monitor click-through’s and sent, forwarded, bounced, delivered and
unsubscribed emails. Customer service is not as fast as Getresponse
but it is good and also includes phone and chat options. This is a
great interface with great deliverability but it does get expensive
with larger lists. This product is highly recommended especially for lists
ranging from between 0 - 2,500.

up. Creating campaigns and messages is very easy. You have the options
of a built in HTML WYSIWYG Editor, text, html or professional templates.
iContact is remotely-hosted and is continually adding new easy to use
features. They have some very useful features which include survey
tools, an RSS feed, bounce manager and list segmentation just to name a
few. The interface looks great and is very easy to use. Customer service
is fast and reliable and includes phone and chat solutions.
Deliverability is great thanks to their white list agreements with the
major ISPs and to demonstrate their confidence they provide their IP
addresses so you can go to independent sites that monitor blacklist
reporting and see for yourself. There is a 15 day trial available for
putting this software to the test.

iContact has some great features but it is
expensive if you have a large list. It is ideal for small businesses
with under 2,500 contacts. Above this amount it is hard to justify the
cost unless their special features are converting to sales (Using
iContact with lists larger than 2,500 is only recommended if you are an
experienced marketer).
